Agreed! My plans for such a thing are here. My preliminary work resulted in a relationship grapher that can be found here.

My one current problem is that the data source I use for this on LJ isn't functioning on DW yet, but I can submit a patch for it and hopefully have it approved. It depends, though, on whether or not that's the direction they want to head with that kind of stuff.
